Came with my bestie, a recent cancer survivor, for my granddaughter 10th birthday. My son is a career Army man. Gold vault Inn has been a wonderful choice for us. The staff especially has gone above and beyond to insure our comfort. We needed a chair brought to our room so bestie can sleep fairly upright. We needed a bit of real milk for her coffee and they gladly gave us a small cup. Our room was very clean and all the carpets throughout have been replaced. They've obviously been renovating and updating the whole place and it's lovely. Interacted with 4 staff people so far and they were all very nice and accommodating. I can't even call it a complaint, that the pool wasn't open yet because there are obvious signs of renovation going on in there. No signs of bugs, drugs or any other negative thing I've seen mentioned in the reviews I read online. I think people make up their mind to be happy or not. If they're looking to find fault or be negative, they will. With 3 sons serving in the military since2005, I have stayed in plenty of motels all across this country. This place is in the top 5. And when I consider the cost...this place is #1. I'm a smoker and up late. I felt very safe being outside alone at night.
Greeted at lobby by a very sweet girl named Bobbie very friendly and helpful. Room was extra large king size bed room was spotless. Added to favorites on my map so if I'm in the area again I'll be staying very pleased. Super nice pool although we didn't swim.
Decent little hotel for the money. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Free breakfast wasn't all that great, but you get what you pay for. The lady manning the breakfast area was doing a great job, though. Hotel is a little dated, but I would stay here again.
Booked for one night while visiting a friend in the area, the hotel itself would have been modern 30 years ago - I'm not going to fault them for being dated, but the AC in the room required an arcane ritual to get working properly, the bathroom looked as though some items had been repaired half-assedly, and the question "what water pressure?" Entered my mind while taking a shower. The wallpaper is peeling, but this was quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've been on in a hotel in a while. Be sure to bring your own device chargers, though, because there were no USB ports anywhere in the room. Breakfast is only served between 6 and 9am, which is kind of a narrow window, but I've had worse. Overall not a bad spot to stay for the price.
Check in went smoothly and she was very welcoming. Our house keeper was named Brittany and she was amazing. So helpful and polite. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Definitely five stars from me and my husband.
The swimming pool is terrific the rooms are big made my first waffles this morning came out pretty good great breakfast great place and of course Patrick one of the desk clerks always happy and smiling thank you
For a quick trip to the Louisville area, this hotel is a perfect distance from downtown Louisville to provide an easy drive, yet far enough way to provide an excellent deal. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but it needs some modern updates. More electrical outlets and USB ports would make it even better.
Look people you get what you pay for. I paid for a week here with my family. Rooms were decent. Ceiling in bathroom did have a leak but it did not affect us or our stay. Maintenance was helpful & Friendly. Staff were also friendly and helpful whenever we asked. Pool is large & has a clean pool deck. Although they attempted to fix the pool heater it didn’t want to cooperate. But then again that isn’t their fault. They made the effort to do what needed to be done..No roaches or bugs present. Hot tub is no longer functioning due to adults who couldn’t act like adults. Let’s just keep it at that. Breakfast was satisfactory and fresh. Room service was also friendly and up kept. The noise didn’t bother us it’s normal for people to be coming & going. It is a hotel. Smfh..Pet policy could use some adjustments as far as the fee goes. We didn’t incur any crazy charges. Got our deposit back. No issues. Stop complaining about the service these people give when you’re paying for a hotel not a damn luxury sweet at the Hilton. This hotel is good and the location is more than safe. Employees were very helpful to us and our stay was very enjoyable. And we appreciate the work you do. So we will definitely be back. Thank you..
